Would you like Pink or Blue? :)

You can't see it too well in the pic, but there is a white faux fur rug there.

I adore the lace trim on these pillows, it's vintage. :)

Can anyone guess what the core of the over-stuffed ottomans are?

Those are things I've been working on for my giveaway. I also have two other color combinations I'm thinking about doing.

I've also been working on my swap items, but, I can't show you that, because it's a Secret! shhhh!!! :)

At the moment, I've got about twenty different projects on my work table in various stages of completion.

Do you do this?
I find I start one project, which makes me think of another project, which leads to another... and so on and so on and so one. lol I like having a bunch of things going at one time, makes the time pass so quickly.

I was working with some stuff, which led to this.

I know! Wrong season... but, I've had this greenery for a while and was just dying to see it come to life.

How about an alternative color combination?

If they can have a Chanukah bush, why not a wreath too?

If you are having any problems with the swap, just let me know or drop me a line dales_dreams@comcast.net

If you have not signed up to be in my giveaway, please see this post for instructions.

I have many new followers to welcome, I see. :)
So glad to have you all along, I'm behind in my welcoming, but will tend to that shortly.
For now, I say, Welcome All!
Enjoy!
:)

Thanks so much for stopping by, I love to hear what you have to say. :)

  1. They are both really pretty, Dale, but I love the blue set. Are you using a section of toilet paper tube for the ottomans?

  2. Pretty Dale. I like the pink best. I will guess foam board because that is what I use in my foot stools. The wreaths are beautiful, I love the glittery leaves.

  4. My favorite is the blue!I love carpet and pillows.Would be fine in my home country while the Ottomans and the screen would be perfect for the Parisian home!

  5. Well, if you say there's a rug in the first picture I'm going to believe that... (LOL). Both sets look fantastic, personally I'd go for the blue one if I had to choose, I'm not the pinky type. You've been very busy with so many lovely results - and I must admit: That christmas wreath before easter... could have been me... ;O)

    Greetings

  6. Thanks, De. :) Nope, not a paper tube, that would have yeilded a smaller ottoman. ;)

Thanks, Victoria! :) I'm partial to the shiny leaves too, all things shiny! lol Nope, not foam board. :)

    Thanks, Patty! :)

Thanks, Sonya! Glad you can see where you would use them. :)

Thanks, Birgit. :) I apologise for the poor photo quality. This is what happens when you take pictures at the end of the day instead of at the beginning! Glad to hear I'm not the only on seasonally challenged. ;) I think a lot of people think of different holidays all through the year. :)

I'm tickled everyone is guess the ottoman base. I might have to have a prize if someone guesses it. :)

Thank you all so much for all of your kind commments. :)

  9. I love the blue!!!! You have been so busy Dale!! I do the same thing as you do- one project turns into another turns into another and all of a sudden I'm asking myself- where did all of this come from?? It feels awesome to have ideas and be creative though, doesn't it?

  10. Very you, Dale :):) especially the pink ones :). Lovely as always :). You know me, I love the blues :). The footstool's base is a cork? :)

Where minis are concerned, I seem to be only able to focus on one thing at a time, one house at a time. :). Although I multi task fairly well. I won't know how to cope if I have 20 projects on my table :).

  11. They are both great, but my favourite is the blue set.
I am like you I have too many ideas at the same time, one leading to another one, unfortunately this way I don't get much done.

  12. Pink all the way! LOL! They both look amazing. I can't let myself start too many projects. I feel so out of control if I do. So I sketch my ideas in a notebook for later. I'm such a control freak! I think it's so much more productive to work on many projects at once. Lucky you for being able to do that. hugs,

  13. Gracias, ascensión :)

Chrissey, I'm a pink gal, too, but, I love working with blue. Blue and white really appeals to me.

    No, it's not a paper tube. :)

Thanks, Kim! I love those creative times. I'm being really good, though, as I complete one thing, I put everything away. I'm trying to make that a new compulsion. You do have to have some times where everything is every where. :) That's what sparks the creativity, seeing all the stuff. :)

Thanks, Sans! :) no, it's not a cork.... You have incredible focus for your minis and I think you're more intense about any one given project. I flit. ;)

Thanks,Geneviève. I may travel in circles, but, eventually the circle gets smaller and smaller as things get accomplished. :)

Thanks, Caroline! :) I keep an notebook too, full of ideas and patterns and notes of how I made things if I want to recreate something. It's more like a big pile of paper inside a notebook. ;)
